I definitely recommend this boat rent! The host Spencer is super friendly and gave us many advice and tips for our independent trip through the canal. Their map is very easy to understand and drive and the electric boat it goes slow and makes you enjoy the city!

Great way to see the city! 4 hour tour was more than enough to do a big loop and see many of the sights for touring. We stopped at a Café along the way and moored to the side. Map made it easy to navigate. Just stay alert of bigger boats and guve them right of way and you won't have any issues! I would def recommend this company they were great!

We had the most amazing time hiring a boat from Boaty for 3 people to celebrate my birthday. The booking was very easy and the location central and easy to find. I booked one day before and there were still available slots.The people were very kind, gave us information and directions on popular routes. The best value for money in Amsterdam by far, we enjoyed the full 3 hours, and had time to make stops and be relaxed. Highly recommended! There is nothing like getting around the city through the canals on a sunny day.Thank you!

Was super good fun! The boat was clean and well maintained. There are a few routes they propose and the one we took through the center was nice. The boats are electric so not super fast but you want to take it easy around the beautiful canals ;-)

Boating throughout the canals with Boaty was a wonderful way to end our trip in Amsterdam. The crew was helpful in getting us started, and Roos was extremely accommodating when we had an issue with our reservation. Great value for a must-do activity in Amsterdam! Would do again!

We've used Boaty in previous years and the locations are great as it allows you to have a relaxing boat trip on the quieter areas of the canals as going from the centre can be chaotic. I also made my booking on the wrong day this time but the staff at Boaty were very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate and offer us different days where they had availability which they didn't have to do. We'd definitely recommend them and will be using them again on future visits to Amsterdam

If you're looking to hire a boat in Amsterdam this is the company to use. A lot cheaper than most and the experience was top class. We phoned to book as it was same day - customer service great and when we arrived we were met by Lars who was really attentive, he took time to answer questions and show us routes to take and made sure we were set to go. Really friendly and helpful. The boat itself was great and the 3 hours spent cruising the canals was the best experience we had in Amsterdam. Thanks again Lars, and thanks for the restaurant recommendations too 😀

We randomly chose to hire a boat from Boaty and we were so glad we did. The guy was super friendly, informative and welcoming. For 3 hours on the canals it was worth the money. So relaxed and because you go really slowly you get to take in Amsterdam properly. Highly recommended!!

Es war unser schönstes Erlebnis in Amsterdam und die Boote sind wirklich sehr einfach zu fahren. Für etwas größere Kinder und Jugendliche auch sehr cool. Allerdings muss der Fahrer offiziell 18 Jahre alt sein. Tipp aus eigener Erfahrung: Taschenmesser mitnehmen, falls Plastik in den Propeller kommt und diesen blockiert.

This has to be the best thing I’ve done in Amsterdam !!!Having been to Amsterdam a few times now, we saw a Boaty boat go past us and after a quick Google I found them online. Ich kann Boaty wirklich nur weiterempfehlen! Eine super liebe Mitarbeiterin hat uns am 11.9 bestens in das Boot eingewiesen und uns die möglichen Touren empfohlen. Das Gedamtpaket stimmt einfach. Wir hatten 3 Stunden unsere Privatsphäre auf dem Wasser in einer so belebten Stadt und konnten gleichzeitig Sightseeing machen. Der Preis ist allemal gerechtfertigt - besonders cool ist auch, dass Verpflegung mitgenommen werden darf 🚤💙I can only recommend Boaty! A really nice colleague gave us a good introduction to the boat on the 11th September and recommended the possible tours to us. The whole trip was amazing. We had 3 hours of privacy on the water in such a busy city while sightseeing at the same time. The price is definitely justified - it is also particularly cool that you can take food with you 🚤💙

I've probably recommended Boaty over 100 times to friends, family, and complete strangers - really, anyone who will listen. The boat trip we took a few years ago (my mom, my boyfriend, and me) was charming and fun and for sure the highlight of that particular visit to Europe. The price for that experience seemed to be a reasonable value, even split among just three people. I loved the thrill of determining our own path (using the Boaty map), figuring how to navigate the boat, and exploring at our own, slow pace with conversations instead of listening to commentary. We had some funny moments and bonded over our (my) minor mishaps (two very slow 360s on the Amstel) 😎

We had a great time on our boaty last month with family over, I have just booked our next one for July!!Much cheaper then other rental companies in Amsterdam! Slightly smaller boat but easier to steer. Can't wait for our next adventure on the canals! Best way to see the city, we even got a sneaky view of the giraffes and elephants� at artis �

Had a Fantastic time renting a boat from Boaty tonight. Guido did a great job of explaining all the rules and giving us the best tips on where to go and what to see. The rates were very reasonable, the boat worked great, was perfect for our family of four.
